a quick glance about my goals last 2012

These are my goals set for the past year posted here in my blog last January 2012. I want to check if I was successful in every goal I’ve set. ^_^ ü   will be more industrious and passionate in writing blog posts. Well, I must say that my blog posting last year was not bad at all. I started blogging last 2009, that year I made 17 blog posts. A few posts just for a starter like me that time. For year 2010, I have written 33 posts. Mostly, I wrote about my thoughts, experiences, activities and sentiments. This blog of mine has been my virtual-bestfriend for years. It’s like talking to someone invisible and yet I can talk freely without inhibitions. Year 2011, was really a bad year for blogging. I can’t believe it I only have 5 posts for that whole year. I don’t have easy access on internet that time and that year was very crucial on my part. After that I made a promise to write more for the next year. 2012 came, I was able to write 58 posts, not bad right?.. :) ü...

shy-type ??..

I can’t find any nicer photo than this. It was the only photo we had together with my papa. This picture only proves how allergic and shy-type he is when it comes to picture-taking. He doesn’t even wanna look towards the camera or even give a little smile. Pretending as if no one is taking a picture while both me and my sister we're all smile.

an open letter for u nget.. :)

I saw this quote while reading old messages from my cell phone.. The real meaning of friendship.. “ it isn’t based on how many secrets you share.. isn’t how well you get along nor how much you like each other.. isn’t how people see you together.. BUT it appreciates the differences.. the gaps.. the hindrances.. the trials.. and still a friend looks at you straight from the heart.. without hatred.. without judgment.. without envy.. without criticism.. only PURE ACCEPTANCE..” I don’t have the guts to tell you this personally so I decided to write it down.. :) nget , every time you thank me and my family for a couple of months you stayed here in our home, I always thought that it should be the other way around. You’ve never been a burden to us and you really know how to get along well with each member of my family.  Thank you for being such a wonderful friend to me. Actually, you’re not just a friend to me..  you stand like a big sister to me. Thank yo...

LESS TALK .. LESS MISTAKE .. LESS CONFLICT..

Since the day I learned making friends, I really believed that I am very good in treasuring and giving importance to friendship. Everyone who knew me how emotional I get when it comes to my friends. Until today, I still have communications from my elementary friends, high school friends, college friends and even those who I worked with from my previous jobs. I always enjoyed chatting with them and spending time with them once in a while especially now that we’re all grown up and busy with our own lives. But what happens next when too much conflict happened between you and some of your friends and you’re all fed up? We’ve tried to fix things but for some reason we’re not like the same one just like before. Now it seems like we’re drifting apart from each other. Although, there are times we missed the old days, yet we can’t bring it back the way it used to be and we’re now like different persons who can’t stand each other’s company. That’s the sad part of it. Although they don’...

alcohol poisoning

I realized something today after reading some article about alcohol poisoning. Well, not that I am a drinker but I do get drunk a few times with friends. Last Christmas Eve after having some shots of alcohol, for the second time I experienced having difficulty in breathing but not as bad as the first time I experienced it. The first time I had it was really worst, I really can’t breathe that time, chest pain was really unbearable, my friends told me the morning after that I look so pale and I realized it might be an alcohol poisoning. It’s kinda scary after learning about it and I think from now on I should drink responsibly. According to http://www.ehow.com/about_5589142_alcohol_related-breathing-problems.html Alcohol is a depressant, meaning it will slow down your nervous system. Depending on the amount of alcohol you consume, you may experience a variety of emotional and physical changes. For example, when alcohol is absorbed in your bloodstream, it is then dispersed to ...

yummy noche buena!.. :D

Every time there is an occasion or any family gathering,  papa  never failed to show where he is best at.. none other than cooking and food presentation. By the way, he is a former cook and I know he missed the things he do before.  So, this is what he prepared for our  Noche Buena  last Christmas eve, deliciously simple but beautiful! Love it !!.. :D Merry Christmas!!

papa's laughter .. :D

My father is a very serious person. He seldom laugh, it’s like laughing cost too much for him. There are times when all of us are laughing too loud and almost having stomach ache for laughing while watching some comedy movie or TV show, then there he is just sitting quietly at the side with no expression on his face even a slight. That’s why whenever we saw him laugh or even smile, that’s really SOMETHING to us!.. :D because it’s very unusual. It’s a great feeling seeing him like that. It makes me really happy. I know my other siblings would say that too. I remember just the other day I caught him laughing because of my nieces and nephew. Chezka (my older brother’s 2 year old daughter) was trying to fit herself beside my mom who’s already carrying JM (my brother’s 6 month old son), then there at the other side was Ashley (my sister’s 5 year old daughter) who’s having a little tantrum because of jealousy with her younger cousins. Imagine the three of them wanting my mom’s atte...
